We have a endowment policy that has just matured.We cant pay it off our morgage as it is fixed for the next 3 years.
Where do we put the money for 3 years?

With so little information it is impossible to be specific so here are some points to think about.

Have you got an emergency fund? You should be able to sustain yourself for about 6 months in case of job loss, if that applies to you. An instant-access savings account would probably be suitable for that. You can find more about savings accounts on the MSE savings page.

You can save up to £5,100 each in a cash ISA. Depending on how old you are, you might want to consider a Stocks & Shares ISA where you can invest up to £10,200 each. You can find more info about ISAs on the MSE ISA page.

Your mortgage might be fixed-rate but that doesn't necessarily mean to say that you can't pay off anything. Check with your bank to see whether you can overpay and by how much.

Beyond that, it depends on how much you got from the endowment policy.
