Hi all,
This is my first post on this forum, please excuse if somebody has already asked this question. I own a house with no mortgage outstanding on it and it is currently in my name. We have recently moved to a new house and rented the house I own. Does anybody know the process (how long and how much it cost) to transfer the house in my wife's name. This is to avoid tax on rental income.
PS: My wife is currently not working as she is looking after our daugther and annual rental income will be less than 5K.
