best way to get to london

hi all,

we are travelling down to london on sunday 9th and travelling back to leeds/manchester on 10th may.

we would prefer to leave early on the sunday and arrive home later on the monday.

we have booked megabus tickets but the time it will take is putting us off yet the trains seem to be coming in at least £80 each.

anyone got any mse tips???

£41.50 each seems to be the cheapest Advance Single available Leeds to London on that Sunday morning.

The return leg can be done for £10.00 each if you dep Kings Cross at 21:30.

If there are 2 or more people you may find it easier to drive to the outskirts, park and get on the tube. Hell, it may even be cheaper to rent a banger and drive, if there are a few people and you don't have a car!
