In some places at least in Yorkshire they may be some ground frost, else where night temperature maybe around 4c

    I've just been out fleecing my Mexican orange blossom as it's in full flower at the moment, and the forecast is for 2 degrees overnight in the northern home counties!

    It's freezing out there. I've been out and covered my potato pots and everything is back in the mini greenhouse

    Me too. Wrapped my pear tree in mesh and some soft ground cover fabric
    as it looks to have set. Cardboard boxes, bits of curtain - everything deployed.

    Thanks hadn't realised just how cold it was outside.
    Been out to cover our new olive trees with there little cute fleece jackets!, thrown a few sheets of newspapers over my strawberrys but i'm debating whether to bing my potatoes in the patio planter/rubblesack & reuseable bags inside for the night its so chilly!Brrr!
