Selling an electric sewing machine - is Ebay the best place ?

I'm clearing out LOADS of clutter - at last.
I have a sewing machine. It was my 13th birthday present (I'm 49 now !!!) and was used quite a bit thru my teens, but I can't remember using it in my married life, and we have celebrated our 17th anniversary !!
However, it is in excellent condition, I tested it today and it works perfectly well, I have the little toolkit it came with, all the bobbins etc, and even still have the user manual, which is also in good condition.
So is ebay the right place to sell this, or is there anywhere else more suitable ??

Have you checked your local area to see if there are any sewing groups or sewing night classes where you could stick up a poster? It's so popular at the moment that it would probaby go quickly without the, perhaps, prohibitive costs of ebay...

A lot depends on the manufacturer, certain ones and particular models are highly sought after, condition is also relevent.
There's a lot of information on the internet, not just ebay.
You could try Gumtree or Friday Freeads, no fees to pay with them.0
