car tracking question

Hi all, well I've done a dumb thing and gone near a curb. I touched it at about 25mph, I didn't go up it, but it was 50% there, almost like I went sort of up it a little but pulled away. I don't know how but I did. Well now I'm paranoid my tracking is out. It's a 59 plate hyundai i30, so should I just go back to hyundai and ask them to check as part of the 5year warranty? I drove up and down my dual carriage way, about 5miles to check. Well going one way I would go to the left which lead me to believe the tracking was out, as it was the front passenger wheel that I hit. However, on the way back it would veer to the right, so I'm unsure? The roads around here are all in a curve to the centre so I can't really check, it's so intermittent I can't give a decisive answer, but I feel something isn't 100% right, but then it could just be because I've only just done it. The steering wheel does seem to sit slightly toward the left, so a few degrees downward toward the left, not much but a little. So... should I get it checked out? I'm in northampton, so I'm wondering should I go hyundai, or does anyone know a good garage I can try? Cheers. Muttyhc.

Yeah I would definately get it to a garage to check the tracking, however, don't think they'll do it under warranty as you hit the kerb, they may do it out of courtesy, but you can always take it to a tyre shop who can check as well, there is also a possibility of damage to the wheel too, careful with places like Kwik Fit though they may try and sting you for a new one regardless. So maybe you're Hyundai garage may be the best place in the end to take it.
Even if they charge it shouldn't be too much.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

If you have been driving on it for a while, you can look at your tyres which may have started wearing irregularly. If there is smooth wear down one shoulder, the camber is out, but if you run your hand gently forwards and backwards over the worn area and it seems fairly smooth one way, but catches your hand as you run it along the other way (known as feathered wear) then your tracking is out.

Of course, if this has just happened recently it may be too early for the wear to be visible, in which case you should definitely get it checked for your peace of mind!
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!

Good tyre place, normally costs around £25. Worth it - tyre wear will increase if the tracking is out.
    Happy chappy
