restaurants/pubs near hammersmith apollo?

Hi everyone,

Im off to a concert at hammersmith apollo on saturday. can anyone recommend any good restaurants and pubs in the area that would be good to go to before hand?

if you don't mind a short bus ride, the Sun Inn in Barnes Village is lovely. It's about a 10 min bus ride over the river.

There are a couple of pubs near the Apollo but they do get very busy. There isn't an abundance on the doorstep though- well not that we've noticed in the few times we've been. We ate in a pub inside the station area last time and the food was fine- but just your average pub food. We opted for there as they were showing football but the others in the area looked very similar.

theres a wetherspoons down the road which is cheap and cheerfull, we normally go there or the Edwards next door, both are about 5 minute walk from the Appollo.
