Moving in with partner in placement year

Im sharing a room and splitting rent with my girlfriend during my placement year (which i have a paid job), but still plan on claiming for the maximum student and maitenance loan i am entitled to.
Does that mean in my final year at uni after the placement year, my loan application will be based on what my girlfriend earns instead of my mum? As my girlfriend earns more than my mum and i do not want to lose out!
