    I object to the one-eyed view of the world that many bugs have.

    Gold as an absolute store of value is fine, and possibly worth putting a small amount into. Putting everything into gold????

    It's a commodity, that fluctuates wildly in value according to the fickle whims of the market.

    And it's currently in a massive bubble.
