Trying to find a nicer tasting non dairy alternative

OK so after many years of deliberating, I finally cut out dairy from my diet.
I have so many digestion issues and on a recent cutting out of all dairy I found my stomach went down in volume- I now have a waist that goes in instead of looking 6 months pregnant! (This is amazing to me).
I had been drinking the lactose free stuff but someone suggested cutting that out and having something non dairy as I do still have some symptoms which could be attributed to dairy and not just the lactose. I want to test this out but I am having trouble finding a nice tasting alternative.
I am currently drinking "so good" and really cannot stand it! Its got an odd creamy/silicon after taste which I do not like, Rice Milk was not creamy enough (just like water infact)...
Please someone tell me there are better options out there!

I have cut out most dairy form my diet. I was finding that the mucogenic properties of milk gave me sinusitis for most of the year, not fun. I drink rice milk, but the taste varies greatly. I really don't like provamel for instance, but love Rice Dream. Maybe give a couple of kinds a try before dismissing?
Oatly is ok too, it tastes of oats unsurprisingly, but makes porridge lovely and creamy so I use it for that (not so great on cereals).
I don't drink tea or coffee so couldn't recommend any for that purpose.
It's only a game

There is non-dairy creamer in powder form for coffee and teas. Or just drink herbal tea black.
I believe there are also non dairy yoghurts available...0 -
I use Morrisons fresh soya milk which is currently on offer for about 68p ish - but I don't drink it on it's own only mixed in with things, ie protein shakes etc. But I can't taste any noticeable 'taste' like this (I didn't like milk anyway). It seems to work as well as milk did in cooking.
In what way will you be using it?0 -
I went vegan for a while when i was a teenager, i used to eat some icewcream called swedish glace i think, it was very yummy (and very expensive!!!) but i think you can still get it in tesco0

Can still get it, I had some last week - better than dairy ice cream!
Though Morrisons and Sainsburys have stopped stocking the chocolate version. I think it's quite cheap though compared to dairy ice cream, £1.99 at the moment (though was only £1.70 ish last year).0 -
I'm dying for some dairy/wheat free chocolate that doesn't cost nearly a quid for a small bar.0

alpro soya yogurts are brilliant...taste like the flavour they say they are. Soya chocolate milk is good and a brilliant alternative to chocolate.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

these are sooo yummy and often offered as samples - well worth contacting the company and telling them your looking for alternaitves i'm sure they'll send you some goodies
i drink soya milk - for moral not strictly health reasons and really do find a difference in taste between the brands, it's trial and error usually, the sweetened stuff tastes like sweetex (foul!) to me so i avoid itDon’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.0
