Did you find it a huge adrenaline rush, me and my O/H were giggling like school kids, I even changed my jacket 3 times on my 6 visits :rotfl:

I certainly did. I'm not sure why I opted for alcohol in the transaction as it meant having to grab the attention of an employee and also getting them to fiddle around with the onscreen display, but still each time I tried it I always had a bottle of vodka!

So has anyone had any Thursday joy with the glitch? I'm going to be trying my local again just after 9am on the very small offchance they have restocked the shelves yet again and still not resolved the checkout issues!

I tried mine when they opened at 8am but it was fixed, I too got vodka but used the self scan tills and scanned the vodka first so when the SA came over to "uncollar" it all it showed was the vodka price :D

  • quoia - really enjoyed reading about your tomato expedition. Knowing my luck, I wouldn't be able to reach the cartons on the top shelf! Anyway, I had an online delivery come last night. As the slot was late, I really didn't think that the glitch would work. I was convinced that they would either substitute it, or cancel it, or charge me loads. I could barely hide my happiness when he handed me the bill. Managed to stock up on a lot of baby essentials through this, so really really happy. Major thanks to the OP. Hope everyone else has managed to get a few tomatoes..or more...out of this deal.

I found some in metro store yesterday, I took what I could carry (7 months pregnant, can't really manage that much). Ended up with a full basket of food and paid £0.32! I self scanned. I'm going back this morning, but there wasn't that many left yesterday so I'm not holding out much hope.

I Tried both the Longton & Meir stores in S-O-T and i just got the 3-4-1 offer. Has anybody had any joy previous to this at any of these stores.

I also tried Kidsgrove but they didnt even have any out on the shelf...

I was looking forward to a few freebies too :(

oh well, absolutely loads on Bishops Cleeve shelves but the till now fixed to just give the proper 3-for-price-of-1 deal (which is still good at 20p per carton).

Brockworth was charging 59p per carton as of last night, no glitch and no offer.

Cheltenham Metro don't even have a space on the shelves for these anymore, all traces they even existed has been removed. Likewise for Tewkesbury Road last night.

Tewkesbury itself still had the shelf edge labels but none on display, I don't think I'll bother driving out today as it seems most in my area have now cottoned onto it.
