sent me different camera

i bought a fuji hs 10 camera from pc world buisiness for £99.99 + vat paid for it and they sent me an invoice stateing the model and its specs and price.when it arrived it was a completely different camera although they had taken my money.i looked on their website again and saw that it had gone up to £395.i thought it was a good deal but i dont want the camera they replaced it with can i make them honor the cantract and supply me with the fuji hs10...all help grateful..

I dont think this is the best board to post on.

Anyway if the price was incorrect which is what it sounds like they can cancel your order (and most websites now have this explicitiy stated in the T&C) but they shouldn't have sent a different model. You could try and get them to send the correct one but I doubt you'll get it for the cheap price.

The way retailers get out of this is by their T&C stating that no contract exists until X happens. X is usually dispatch, meaning you might have a case to get the camera you originally chose at the cheap price. Clauses in their T&C reducing their liability may come under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts regulations.

...or that's what I would be saying if you didn't buy from PC World Business. You might have a chance but it's a long shot really. If it was me I'd read all the T&C and laws for a bargain, but if that's too much effort then it's not worth it.
