As we haven't had a holiday this year I decided to book on the Haven site for a holiday for May Bank hols 2007, on the booking page they are advertising quite a few deals such as 6 nights for the price of 3 etc etc. This particular holiday was a really good deal at 7 nights for the price of 3. When I tried to book it online though it would only bring up 3 nights for £169.00 or 7 nights for £289. I phoned up the customer service number to try and sort out what was going on. After loads of back and forth from the guy on the phone, he finally came back with that he could do 7 nights for £259. I reminded him that this was no where near the £169.00 for 3 nights price and when it said this was 7 nights for the price of 3 I expected to pay the advertised 3 night break price.
He promised he would get someone to call me back, this was at 10.30, still no phone call since, what a surprise. I hope no one has booked these breaks expecting to have 7 nights as obviously this isn't going to happen.
Turns out they have lost my business anyway as I rang Howells Leisure who run fantastic parks in Wales and they are doing 7 days for less than £80. Unfortunately you can't book 2007 holidays with them until their brochure comes out in October but I'll be straight on the phone as soon as it arrives.

Are you sure the 3 nights shouldn't be £289 full price. So they are offering 7 nights for this price.
Then obviously nobody would just book 3 nights so they have discounted the 3 nights prices. The 7 nights for the price of 3 would be based on full brochure price.0 -
I don't have time to spend looking too hard, but as far as I can make it work, the 7 nights for the price of 3 only applies to late deals for 2006 and they are specific accommodation at specific parks.
In any event, simes is quite correct that the offer is based on the standard brochure price as this is clearly stated in the terms and conditions.0
