complaining to sky

i have a bit of an issue with sky at the moment i have tried calling them spoke to a manager who just told me that it was though and hung up on me.
this may seem silly but when you are told something is going to happen i expect it to.

it all started when sky did not turn up to install my sky+ so i told them that i would be charging them for the day off work to which a manager came forward and told me that the would do it for free instead of £49. i accepted and they refunded me £49 to my c/c. but then he said they need to set up a complete new installition and n order for it to go through they will need to charge me £49 again just to put it through the system, and they would give me a full refund to my c/c.but i found out yesterday that they have applied it to my account now i know i have it back but i am now paying interest on my card this is 29.9%, and to top it all off they have all the notes that state it should have gone to my c/c but yet they will not do so.

    Hi
I had a similar issue with Sky a few years ago whereby they credited my Sky a/c instead of my C/C - a system I still fail to understand !!! I wrote a really long letter of complaint in a really small font just to get on their nerves. I got the C/C co to take matters up with them and refused to make any further payment. Needless to say, they sorted it out - they ended up sending the payment to my C/C and because I'd disputed the payment with the C/C folk, I wasn't charged interest.

    Good Luck

I had a load of problems with Sky when all the problems were happening with the Sky + boxes at the end of last year (failing to record, etc.). I well knew that it was all caused by Sky's latest software download because of a number of specialist forums and even Sky's own problem support helpdesk. However when I phoned up at a later date one of the CS managers completely denied this and told me I was wrong and got really !!!!y. So in the end did the usual trick - phone up and ask to cancel contract - you get get a 'nice' friendly person who suddenly believes every word you believe. Sky have got to have the worst customer services I have ever experienced.
