Tax credit specialist renewal letter but renewed through main helpline

Hi, i received my renewal pack for working taxcredit 2 weeks ago. Then last week a letter came saying that they want me to renew through the specialist team to make sure i'm not being under or over paid and to call them on 08456005310 ive done nothing but worry since. The office is open mon-fri between 8am and 5pm but i work full time so its hard for me to renew during these times and couldnt get any privacy in work. I tryed to call the number 4.30pm friday engaged constantly so after reading a different post on here tryed again saturday still engaged for hours so i decided to give the main helpline a call and ask what was going on. I spoke to a really nice lady who said she would get supervissor to check my claim then came back on the phone and said she was able to fully process it and renew. So i gave her my income details she then checked all childcare details which are the same and ask if i expect to earn same next year which i agreed, she said thats gone though fine and i will receive a few award notices in the post and i could ring back in a couple of days to check new payments. I have been really worried since reading posts on here saying i cant renew that way. As anybody else had one of these letter and renewed through the main line? If so can you let me know what happend and how long after did you receive payment? Thank you
