Which CC companies accept Faster Payments?

Just wondering do any credit card companies accept faster payments sent from your bank online? I called up Barclaycard today and they said they don't, what about companies such as MBNA, Amex, Tesco Finance etc?

Cheers :)

    Barclaycard will accept faster payments:
To ensure a payment to your Barclaycard account reaches us on the same day, please submit your payment by 6.00pm if paying from a Barclays bank account, or 4.00pm if paying from an account held with another Faster Payments scheme member bank.

As do MBNA, RBS and HSBC - among others.

    Regards
    Sunil

    Capital One accept Faster Payments.

Only payment details with sort code 40-02-50 seem to be enabled.
Other details such as those starting 44-XX-XX are not enabled.

Egg say they do and it's in their TC however--I've paid them from two accounts that do Faster Payments, and the transfers are virtually instant. It takes 2/3 days to clear the Egg account. I have queried this and was told a)payments come through a third party so there is a delay/b) if it comes before 11.45am ikt clears the account. But the last p;ayment wasarranged at 11pm one day for payment the next-and it still didn 't go through.

They are adamant they accept Faster Payments but it doesn't show up on the account

Thanks for the replies. Yes it seems nearly all CC providers accept incoming Faster Payments, though when i called up Barclaycard again their call centre staff still aren't aware that payments will reach the Barclaycard the same day if made before 4pm from a non-barclays account:mad:

I take it payments to Amex still take 2-3 days as that is what they told me this morning?
