Afternoon all, not caught up yet so I hope everyone's OK.
I've done today's list and I did the kitchen too and vacuumed up the stairs.
One load of washing just about dried before a sudden shower of rain and I've got some bedding out now. DS was supposed to be staying tonight but he's not now so I've stripped the bed.
Went to Body Shop this morning to spend my voucher from Saturday's paper and got three bars of soap for £10 -

Good afternoon everyone
I hope you are all having a good bank holiday!! I have decided that I am going to lurk rather than keep posting as I don't seem able to finish even level 1 at the moment. I have broken the absolute chaos that is my house into tiny chunks that I can manage and this has proved to be quite good - I can see a visible difference in the mess every where. But it is still horrendous - can't even get the hoover around!
Anyway - still feeling shakey and jittery - tried to do a tiny shop at Sainsbugs by my self and felt awful by the time I got to the car (one 1 and 1/2 bags of shopping so hardly a full family shop). When I got home had a really jittery leg and felt dreadful - a cup of tea and a gabapentin later and I feel a little better. Not ready to start my ever increasing list ..... more computer and reading first !
I don't know if anyone can help with some information..... now this is where it becomes very obvious that I have been able to do very little recently!! Does anyone know how I get more neighbours on Social City? I need to increase the size but I am struggling to make enough bucks to pay for the extra space IYSWIM.
Thanks

Just got back from a May Day event in a local village which was nice. Before we went I vacuumed all of the house so it looks much better and had a tidy up. Not sure what to do for tea; could be something pasta related as quick and easy. This evening I've got some ironing to do but no typing as all up to date.
Methekidsandthecat I've been MIA for a while so don't know what's been going on but hope you are feeling better now. Keep posting, it doesn't matter how much or how little you achieve of the lists, just nice to keep in touch and share even little achievements!
Pollybear, well done with 3 soaps for £1!
Kazm, well done with the curtain material! I hope it matches OK.
Pigpen, I well remember my cats used to bring birds in and rip them apart in the house. Eugh. I used to dread this time of year as they always seemed to get the poor little baby birds. Not nice is it.
Toots, you did a lot today - you've put me to shame I have to say! Don't over do it love.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Me.. just do what you can and you know we are here to support, encourage or kick you as you need.. you don't need to lurk.. lurking will make you less likely to do anything as you won't feel the need to tell us about it.. we know it is a chore cleaning but when there are added difficulties it is just so much worse.. You are right to be breaking it into tiny bits... unlike nutty me that takes on the whole house in a day! .. And sorry.. I don't play..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

I got the front grass cut, edged and swept up. Just ran and got the washing in because it started to rain big fat raindrops. Luckily it was dry so that's folded and on the stairs waiting to be put away next time I go upstairs.
If the rain stays away I might get the back grass cut later.
Meanwhile DH is still watching Superbikes and the dog is chomping on her new bone which she thinks is the bees knees0
