I love my nice room... I have spent almost 6 years hating it.. I will hopefully get less boring next week and talK about something other than decorating!!
yes...and now you have someone nice to appreciate it with. I love mine, so much so that I don't really want to repaint it
    BUT needs must.

Shame no-one else had the benefit...

oooo yes they did - I moved my mate in (to housesit;)) for a week and she'll have appreciated it.

Twice I have gone on holiday and shoved my newly separated-and-in-a-quandary mate in my house - so she can have some space to think! Same mate - we've both tied the knot twice!

I have list 6 lots on e bay

DD found a Busted DVD but a scout on e-bay shows about 3 pages of the same item and no bids. She has also found some kids progs (Worzel Gummidge) and a film of the BFG so I will pay her the going rate (£1 each) - and take them into work for when they are needed (ie childminding during events for parents) as they are DVDs I will be able to use them in my classroom:T:T

I have a quantum theory for flyladies - it's Schrodinger in action - as the room is both tidy and untidy at the same time until the time in which the flylady opens the door and fixes the room as being untidy in this dimension, the easy way to ensure that it is tidy at all times is quite simple -

    Just keep the door closed.

I think it's called the Schrodinger Teenage Principle.

I have done some flying!! First this week. I have swept and mopped the kitchen floor.

DS2 wanted to but his face hurts too much. He ran into the goalpost taking a short cut last night.
Dark here is really dark...no street lights and he forgot his headtorch. We have all had a laugh at him/with him. Just hoping he doesn't have any interviews this week.

pigpen your room will be lovely and much more relaxing now it is the way you want it.

valli Just what I used to do. Use dvds as babysitters at school during parents evenings. It was my own kids though that needed minding:)

Not too far from having finished my dissertation. Have a fully proof read essay back from my mum and am 80 words into my conclusion. the other girls are going out to the pub in 15 minutes and then I will carry on without the distractions. Then all I need to do is write my essay question from my conclusion (sneaky but at least I will know I have answered it), check my references are put in correctly and email the final version to my mum and OH for final checks :j:j:j

There is not a single item of clothing in my house that needs washed.

I have batch cooked a ginormous curry, enough for tomorrow's dinner and three DH lunches. Batch cooking all the way this week, we have spent an obscene amount on groceries this month, for which read wine...

There is nothing in the ironing basket. Lunches packed. AAAAhhhhhhhh. (what a smug git, hey)
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Sit back and enjoy it while it lasts :T:T:T

Cupcakes all made... two lots of frosting to make and then they're all done and I can pack them up. Haven't managed any exercise this weekend though, and by the time I'm done it'll be too late to go for a run :(
