We went end of July stayed at the big blue hotel right next to the pleasure beach. .

Nice to know the 'big blue' is ok, we've booked for a night at bank holiday weekend................
.............Blackpool will never change, its a place for a day out or a one night stay. The tackiness is what you go for, take a bag of two pence pieces and wander a few arcades with the loud noise and flashing lights, buy some donuts, get blown around by the permanent sea wind, laugh at people stuck on the 'big one' when it breaks down half way up (the last three times i've been it's done that), ride on a tram, go up the tower etc etc etc etc
We've been to Florida etc and its still unique, if nothing else it makes you appreciate what you've got !!!!!!

is this offer definately online only, or can the bands be purchased for this price on the day?

The offer is online - you have to pay online - you are given a reference number - probably best to print off the confirmation - then collect the wristbands from ticket office at the pleasure beach.

If you have any Tesco vouchers then "Tesco Clubcard Deals" are the way to go if you want to go to Blackpool.

You can buy the P/P wristbands for £7.25 (£29.00) per person in vouchers.

You can visit the "Zoo" or the "Blackpool Tower / Circus Ballroom" (Nice Organ) with Tesco vouchers, £2.50 in vouchers is equal to a tenner!!
The same goes for "Louis Tussauds Waxworks" and "Camelot" theme park (not far by car)
You need to send for the 'deal' vouchers in advance, so visit the attractions website to work out how much you need for your party, but then you use them like cash on entry.

We went @ easter (2 adults & 2 teenagers), got some cheap Travelodge rooms for the weekend and had a "Sun Holiday" mon-fri.

    Money saving or what!!!

Blackpool is looking a bit 'Tired' lately but it does exactly what it says on the tin.

    HTH.

If your one year old is planning to go on some rides, then yes, pleasure beach is free to enter, you only pay if you want to ride.
