This is not really the best investigative way to do this mate.

I would advise using a startup manager initially to try to determine which program is slowing you down, as you can activate one program at a time.

The only program that looks slightly suspect to me is :
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: !SASWinLogon - C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SASWINLO.dll

These kind of programs are usually malware, so I would try to uninstall this one first. A good program freeware program to use is ccleaner for the uninstallation, and it can also do a registery check for redundant entries slowing down your system and has startup management too.

    Good luck.

I would also stop Java from auto updates but that has to be done from control panel . Java

Do you need both lava-soft and spybot?
Also I'd personally change AVG for Avira... (unless you paid for it etc.) as I had bad experience with it recently.

    @ enigma52

You seem right about the program! I checked the .dll file and there were a few problems reported so I thought it might have been something dodgy!

The last time I had any virus activity was about a year ago and I do a LOT of downloading.

As The Grandmaster said, AVG let me down badly one day and it took me ages to recover my system afterwards. Now I use the free microsoft antivirus and another free program called threatfire. Between those two its a race to see which program will pop up first with suspicious program activity! I recommend them both highly.

Agree with fiftyg above in that your problem doesn't seem to be malware and is caused by the programs that are running.

Open Task Manager and see what your CPU usage. I would think it is probably pretty near 100% all the time. If that is the case, you are running too many programs for the spec of your computer.
Also in Task Manager you will see a 'StartUp' tab. Have a look at how many programs are set to run when you first start your computer. I'll wager you've gone more than just a couple....lol. Then it's just a case of asking yourself ' Do I need it to start as soon as I turn my PC on?'. Things like antivirus and touchpad(if laptop) driver ..yes...but do you really need the webcam program to start and always run or just when you want to use the webcam? Same for MSN which I found really slowed down my PC when starting up and also I don't want it running unless I am using it!!!

Each entry will be an .exe file. If you are unsure about what it does...just google it.

    Hope this helps.
