So now I've gone overdrawn!!!!! I spoke to them last week and they said they were giving me a refund of last months rent that I'd already paid.
Finally got through to the rent department and they won't issue a refund until the money's cleared into their account which could be up to a week and then they'll send a cheque out - so another 3-4 days clearing into my account. In the meantime I've got no money to feed the family until I get CTC on Thursday!!!!
So I've gone to the bank and asked for a refund under the Direct Debit Guarantee and cancelled my DD as well. Even that can take up to 48 hours apparently even though the the DD Guarantee scheme says I should get it immediately!!
Aaaargh - I should have taken out more than a tenner for the week yesterday!!!!BUM!!!!!!
And I bet I get charged for going overdrawn now!!!
