US buyer

I only sell occasionally on ebay and have had an enquiry from a US buyer. Are there any problems posting to the US or is it fairly trouble free? The item is fragile and wouldn't be covered by insurance.

If its not going to be covered by insurance you need to be happy to lose the money if their is any damage or lost so make sure the oackaging is bombproof. I only sell items below £41 to the us (the most standard airmail will insure me for ) and I get very few problems0

When I sell to the US or any other country outside the UK I always send it International Signed for, in most cases this will cost around £4.00 or so extra above the normal shipping costs. If it weighs less than 2kg you can send it small packet airmail. If the buyer accepts this, then you should be okay.0
