I wondered about that, which is why I use it under my usual moisturiser. I did loose some of the tightness, which is ok with me and my lines are still smoothed.

When I bought mine it was the last jar on the shelf too :p. I will wait until the pot has finished before I decide whether it's worth it's £20 price tag.

'Used on the face, it's like an instant face-lift,' she continues. 'It dries and lifts the entire face, giving a younger, firmer look. I put it on every night to make sure I look peachy when I wake up the next morning.'
Has Aimee convinced you to give it a try? De Tuinen Snail Gel costs £19.99; available from Holland & Barrett stores nationwide, or by calling 0870 6066605. Use as a serum and wait 10 minutes after application before applying moisturiser on top."

Interestingly I recently bought some organic face cream with all natural ingredients thinking this is what my sensitive skins needs, but it made my skin red raw :(.

Interesting point flippin, the cleanser that made my eye area really sore and itchy was organic with natural ingredients too:(
Thank you for this site Martin

Ok, tried putting the snail gel on and leaving it 10 minutes before applying moisturiser. I could definetely feel the difference :D.

Now I'm just waiting for gorgeous spot mark free skin!!

After reading all the comments on here, I've taken the plunge. Will try it tonight. Loads of jars in my H&B - the SA has been waiting for someone to come back in to report on it - I told her about this site and all the postive comments and now she's going to get some too!
I'm hoping I don't have a reaction to it as my skin is still a bit sore after using a Simple Foaming Cleanser last night (that's now three things of theirs I'm allergic too)

    Hi Griizelda and welcome

Simple products are really, really bad for my sensitive skin, I get lots of stinging. Havn't had any problems with sensitivity with this product at all ...which is amazing for me. Let us know what you think ..

Griizelda - you'll probably find that this product takes the soreness/redness away. I put some on after getting my eyebrows waxed yesterday and the redness went away really quickly!

I put the gel on last night - as others have said, I felt a tightening effect, but no reaction (thankfully!), followed by my £1.99 Aldi night moisturiser (it works and it's cheap - proper MSE stuff!). This morning my face felt lovely and soft and the redness (from the Simple cleanser) had nearly disappeared (still feels a little bit sore tho'). Put it on again this morning followed by my day moisturiser. My face definately looks fresher and slightly more plumped. I really like this product but can't quite work out whether it just "sits" on top of the skin or whether it's absorbed - does anyone know?

Ok, now used this three times now. Definately an improvement in both the look and feel of my skin. I wear a lot of v neck t-shirts and jumpers and have some sun damage to the exposed area of skin. This gel has made a huge difference to the skin there - pobably more so than my face tbh. It's also worth mentioning that a little of this gel goes a long way, so should last fairly well (depending on where it's used of course - it wouldn't last too long if it was used on the whole body!). Based on my use so far, this is something I will continue with and have no hesitation in recommending it.

following your positive reviews, I bought a jar. I have used it 3 times and am very impressed, mainly for the improvement in the texture of my skin- pores appear much smaller. Would never have tried this without this thread, so thank you :T
