Rough cost of repairs - guesstimates please - pics included

I'm definitely claiming off his policy, it's just that my company (Tesco) are doing the running around for me. It's my first proper collision in 15 years of driving so I wasn't really confident enough to deal with his insurers myself.

A hire car has been delivered, a mere snip at £1400 for the estimated 22 days :eek: I actually feel sorry for the other insurance company as that's extortionate.

oooh i feel your pain chick. i too had an accident on thursday- a car slammed into the back of my car doing about 30mph-my car was stationary at the time.

got my hire car today-hate driving new cars!! my car got picked up on friday. just waiting for the phone call now to see when i get my car back.

For the record the repairs will be around £1400, thankfully not a write off. Thanks for all the imput

FYI the slam panel is the bit under the bonnet that runs around the front edge of the car behind the grille .
