We have a mountfield petrol mower, it is a great mower but it is far to heavy for me, as we have to go down steps to the back garden, which means i can't mow the back lawn unless there is somebody else there to help me lift it up and down the steps.
It was the hubby's idea to get a petrol mower, no idea why as he NEVER cots the lawns, and he moans everytime i ask for help. Yesterday i bought an electric mower from B&Q, and tried it out pretty good, takes a little longer and doesn't cut quite as short as the petrol 1, but it's lightweight.......i can lift with 1 hand, just have to remember to keep an eye on the cord.
If our gardens were all on 1 level, i would definately have a petrol, but as they're not i'm quite happy with electric.0
