Need to get from Yorkshire- Huddersfield to Windsor for a family wedding and a trip to Legoland the following day.
Travel down fri and return Sun. 20th August 2010
Did look at driving, but party size has gone up to 6 and only have a standard car.Plus petrol going up each week.
Have looked at rail, national express and mega bus, also flights, mega bus looks like cheapest option at mo.
Any codes for Mega bus?
Plus mega bus only goes to central London- ideas of costs to Windsor?
Sorry but new to all this.

There is a Greenline bus service from Victoria (where Megabus terminates) to Windsor.

Fares are here apparently depend on banding of time of service you want.

Trains go from Paddington or Waterloo to Windsor. It might be worth getting a friends and family discount card depending on if you have children in your party. There is a currently a 2 months free f&F card and usually if you order one of these at the end they offer you a cut price rate on purchasing a full year. You can get the tube circle or district line from Victoria to Paddington direct.

Yes, a when the free two month one expires, you can purchase a twelve month one at half price. Full price = £26, therefore half price = £13.There is a currently a 2 months free f&F card and usually if you order one of these at the end they offer you a cut price rate on purchasing a full year.
Important... you must apply for the free card before 8 May 2010.0
