Fax software for Windows

Hiya,

I'm looking for free fax software for Windows. I would like to be able to create a word document and send it as a fax using outlook..any recommendations?

p.s I've searched for a few on the net but all they give you is 10 day free trial

Windows comes with built in software. Programs, Accessories, Communication, Fax ....

However, you can't send a fax from your PC, in the way you describe, if you're connected via broadband.

Windows XP has this, except it isn't normally installed. To install it:

Start - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs - Add/Remove Windows Components - Fax Services and complete the wizard.

Yes you can, as long as you have a dial-up modem. You can be connected to broadband and send a fax using a dial-up modem at the same time, just like you can make and receive normal telephone calls.
