Joint Account

Hi All,

Does anyone know which is the best joint account to have ?

We don't want to put our salaries into it , it will just be used to pay the bills etc.

Obviously the £50 for the A&L looks interesting, but is that a switch as opposed to a "new" account ?

Thanks,

Steve

We have a joint account with Nationwide. Their Flexaccount is one of the best for no minimum payments etc etc and their debit card has no 'use abroad' charges. The interest on their overdraft is a decent rate and you get pretty good interest if you pay in 1000pm and are in credit.

Also, when our credit card from them was used fraudulently they stopped the card and contacted us and refunded any charges we had incurred. They issued new cards (with numbers) and straightened everything out really well.
