Question regarding Barclays - Cancelled card help needed please

I recently had to cancel my Barclays current account card due to fraud being committed on my account ive got a new card now & all seems to be going well again until today when i relised a refund i was due had been refunded to the card i cancelled.
Would the bank accept this refund through this card into my account ?

Yes this has happened to me before - they should do. Call the bank if you're unsure.

Thanks for your reply seemed that nobody knew the answer to this one lol, I have been in touch with Barclays & they said the money goes into a holding account then after so many days it goes back to where it came from i cant claim it from the holding account or anything which is absoluty ridiclous i cannot understand why barclays accepted it in the first place, Ive been in touch with the company who refunded it in the first place & to be honnest is a complete nightmare i just hope i get my money in the end - Thankyou for nothing Barclays Bank you have let me down yet again !!!!
