P60 - wage for year is £4600, £1k paid in tax???????

    So - the BR code has been carried on from when it was his 2nd job! D'oh indeed :)

    Needs to complete a P46 with this employer - complete it to show it's the only job and the employer should start using 647L. But - you need to take it up with HMRC to get a refund for last year. Send the P60 in (to the office shown on it - take a copy) with the data you've just given me ....... but be prepared to wait 2/3 months! They're a tad busy / disorganised etc etc at the moment with all the wrong codes they've issued.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
