Just wondered if anyone can help, sorry for the lack of technicallity i dont really know much about my car.
for about 3 weeks now car has not been starting randomnly, after a few attempts it finally starts. For the las 5 days it has started perfectly then tongiht the problem returned. we have noticed the problem only really occurs when the engine is warm. it never happens first thing in a morning only when i have left the car for about 15 mins then returned.
The car turns over just nothing happens. We took it to the garage he started it and it started first time so he said id have to let it get worse before he could see what was wrong without doing unecessary repairs.
i have changed the tdc sensor which is a common problem, reading on reanult forums. changed the fuel filter had car serviced to i can smell a bit of petrol.
Now it doesnt sound to good just nto as smooth as it used to. Sorry for going on, can anyone help!!!

When it wont start does the immobiliser light flash really fast on the dash?
We had this intermittant fault on my daughters and it was the key fob ....they are about £150 from a dealer (try an independant renault specialist)and renault have the worst customer service going they had my daughters car for a month they do not keep the key fobs in stock and have to order them from france and then they "code" them to the car!!!!0 -
no the light does not flash very fast i have a spare key it does it with that to.
