Isoflex liquid rubber - any experience?

Hi,
Has anyone tried Isoflex Liquid Rubber to mend a leaking roof? Ex has a small leak in his flat fibreglass roof and wants to try this to repair it.

If anyone has used it do you have any tips or advice? Ex is a carpenter and very competent diyer but has never used this product before.

Thanks,
Slinky

Acrypol is the stuff to use, most merchants stock it.

I have good experience of Rubbaroof, which is a competitor to the Isoflex product (and perhaps is an updated version of Isoflex?).

I've found them very helpful on the phone and they would know whether their product would do what you want. It sounds as it (or Isoflex) would do the job.

  • May be 12 months down the line but I've just ordered 2 more tins to mend a lead valley. Saves time and is great for a permanent fix. I reckon I'll be long gone before it starts to fall to pieces. Recommend it to anyone.
