I have condensed my account of the situation down so as not to be identifiable - there are a lot of other matters but I cannot post them on here. I have my full account ready for the JCP so it will be they who decides - maybe I should have just waited for my appointment in the first place and not come on here.
People can only answer on the information you provide, if you miss things out you may not get an answer that fits your true situation.
If people answering have worked/are working for JCP they probably know what they are talking about and just because it is not the answer you want does not make it wrong or judgmental.0 -
Like I said - I will wait for the definitive answer from JCP as they will have the full details.0

I started a new job 2 weeks ago. On my first day I wasn’t given any formal induction nor was I given any health & safety policy – which I understand is required by law.
I was just given a desk and told to get on with the work (similar to work I had done before so had a general grasp). There was one aspect of the job that I did not have much experience in, which I told him at the interview, and he said I would be trained. I realised quite soon into the first day my boss was very arrogant and was going to be difficult to work with.
By day 2 in the job with no training he came into the office and asked to see the work I had done. He had given me a project to work on covering the exact subject I needed training in.
Am I the only one who would keep on pestering my boss if I wasn't a) given helath & safety policies & b) not given training that I needed?
I'm confused as to why you'd apply for a job that you weren't trained in - unless training was part of the job.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Yes that is the best thing to do rather than complain about perfectly reasonable answers here that do not tell you what you want to hear.0 -

TBH for an office based role I don't think I have ever read through the H&S policy ... I would like to think that as adults we can all work out the dangers of a stapler!
Gone ... or have I?0 -

Thank You
But you didn't leave because of the H&S issue so can't use that as a 'defense'.
I don't think you can show just cause for the other issue0 -
If you were on JSA prior to starting the job and then sign back on again just two weeks later, the Adviser doesn't need to complete the form necessary to sanction you at all. If you are on JSA, start work but last under 28 days, you are fine to sign back on without sanction.“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
