All the leaves have turned brown and died but it looks like some new leaves are coming through on some of the plants, my tomato's started growing keeled over and died  my Lettuce, Lettuce!!!! supposed to be the easiest thing to grow not for me  but on a lighter note I must have the best crop of weeds in the country :D oh almost forgot my cucumbers plants are really good and I will be giving them away soon going to try and sell some of them first to recover what i have lost but knowing my luck they will not sell either. So be ready people for freebies. :j

These sound okay, its prettty hard to kill strawberries, even this winter wouldn't have killed them.

Have the keeled over after you planted them outside, they do look awful when they are first planted. Or they might need support, if they are getting big, depending one the type they will grow to about 3 feet so need canes to support.

Not necessarily, Lettuce dosn't like hot weather, No, I know we havn't had much of that, but its not problem free, slugs and snails love the stuff as well!!!

A few years back i bought 4 strawberry plants, Only 1 survived properly enough to fruit. it was called "sophie" i think, I add a bit of tomato/soft fruit feed to the area & thats about it, Never cover it in winter or anything & it sprouts shoots out everywhere, I dug up 10 new plants to put into hanging baskets this year. Still lots left.

I found our strawberries went very brown and dried up this year with all the frost and snow.

At easter we had a good clear of the bed by removing any dead and dying leaves. Gave them some feed and left them to it.
We now have a bed full of green plants coming back :).
We also started a second bed (kids love strawberries) as Aldi were doing some earlier fruiting varieties. They went our at the same time and they now actually have some little green fruits on them, but it has been mild here for the past month or so and our back garden is quite sheltered anyway.

I have one tray of cut and come again lettuce inside which has done well and is our first crop hurrah. With a second pot outside-this was sown later and is small yet. The secret is to keep sowing bit by bit and watch you hand doesn't slip (my Dad ended up with about 30 lettuces all the same size last year and ended up giving loads away-good job we all like lettuce lol)

I have never had much luck with the cucumbers myself, mine still look very weedy and small so what grows well for one person may not be a good for someone else lol.

I have some toms that looked a bit floppy and thin so when I moved them up to the next size pot for the GH I buried them deep in the compost so covering alot of the stem. They now have grown thicker stronger stems and seem more healthy, might be worth a shot B.

What feed do you give them ali? I have put a few handfuls of organic chicken manure in a bucket of water stir them up and use the liquid for feed, as well as growmore, FB&B I have a few different feeds hear but still trying to figure out what to give what.
