close credit management - problem

About month ago I bought a car. The seller gave me all the documents and also he sent the documents. I have paid the insurance, tax and all was ok. Today I received the letter from company named Close Credit management, which I even don't recognize. The letter is about :

"We act on behalf of Blackhorse Finance Ltd. and are in receipt of evidence which shows you to be in possesion of the above mentioned vehicle. As the vehicle is on a hire purchase our client still has an interest in the vehicle which may only be released upon determination of you innocence as purchaser"

They are asking me to complete Keeper Questionnaire and sent it back.

I am the 4th owner of the car and I never got any loans. Should I contact the previous owner?

Did you not do a HPI check in the car?

Get legal advice quickly before they take the car. I think if you bought it legit you have legal entitlement to the car. But they wont tell you that until its too late.
