Hi guys,
the kitchen are is about 2x3 meters, and a total of 11 units, with a sink.
it involves ripping out old kitchen, stripping out floor and wall tiles,
the amount of floor tiles iv ordered is about 10m2 (theres a little utility room too) , and about 5m2 for wall tiles.
while they was ripping floor tiles, aload of concrete came off with it too, so they'v had to lay new concrete, about 2.5 inches.
also the pipe from the meter to the cooker needed changing as it was crodding, with water, total length of the pipe is prob about 5 meters with 2 bends.
the labour for the whole job is about £1500.
i'v been told its a total of 5 days work, 3 men working.
Is that a fair quote?? the guys arnt cowboys, fairly good, iv used them in the past, i didnt quotes from other ppl, i;m wondering if im being ripped off.
thanks

That sounds pretty good to me. That works out at £100 quid a day per man, which is what, £12-£13 an hour. They have tools, insurance, tak, NI contributuions, transport, they will be using their own screws etc., I would imagine. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0
