Perfect Payday Loan *problem*

Hi there,

I got an email today which has frightened me ALOT :(

I need some advice to see whether or not they can do this:

Outstanding debt:£325.00
Our fees: £65.00
Total due: £390.00

PAYMENT DUE NOW

Our client Perfect Payday Loans has passed your debt to us.

You need to make a payment of £390.00

PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to make immediate payment we will instruct our Debt Investigators to carry out a full and detailed investigation into your loan application. Should they find that you provided ANY false information, such as your employment status, stated earnings, time in employment etc then this may result in Legal Action being taken against you on the grounds of obtaining a loan by deception.

Please call us urgently to make an immediate payment or make cheques payable to: "Perfect Personal Finance Ltd"

can they do this because basically i did apply for this loan when i was on benefits and not working. but they never asked for any work proof

Why did you take out a loan and agree to repay it if you were on benefits and had no income??

What did you think was going to happen??

Did you tick some small boxes on the forms without reading the small print??

You can still come to an arrangement to pay it off in installments, but they may add more charges on after a while.

Presumably their terms and conditions say you have to be working, what with it being a payday loan company. So you must've given false info on the application form for it to have been processed. Whether they checked on it is another thing but it's not a defence to not pay.

I need some advice to see whether or not they can do this:

You mean expect you to repay the money you borrowed??

Unfortunately there are a few companies who have stopped giving money away to anyone who asks for nothing.

    You chose the wrong company.

The clue is in the name, Perfect PAYDAY Loan.

Paydays are days people get paid for giving up their free time for someone else's benefit.

It's the day people receive some PAY (money) so they can repay the loan.
