yes, I've decided, the people are not worth bothering with, i have a right to an opinion too, and if they do not like that opinion then its tough, any hassle i get from them, i'll just walk away and get the police involved.

Yes the bathroom look 100% better than it was cause it was very manky and i hated it. But the work hasn't been finished and there are a few faults still to be fixed. And if that sounds like i'm slagging people off its not meant to.

I have been told to go to trading standards and complain by my father in law today, but i won't, cause it will lead to other issues being explored, and i'm not a horrible person, at the end of the day the family have children to support.

Its just time to move on and get over it, and make the best of a sticky sutuation. At the end of the day i'm going to have a finished bathrom.

claire, think of them as not like tea - they have no tea leaves in. They are less sweet than squash, as no added sugars. Healthy and tasy :D

I should really be doing more than just sitting here randomly clicking but I'm tired. Think it's time for another lemsip. I kind of have everything planned over the next couple of days (make orange curd tomorrow, buy class ingredients Monday) and then everything for next weekend (clean house Saturday, pack Sunday) but I feel like I'm being lazy just sitting here even though I don't feel too bright.

Got my haircut....was going to shop but took the money out and put it back and transferred it back to savings....Sad really.

Nearly walked out on Pint this morning, he's finally admiteed he has an alcohol problem (or the beginning of one) and we're going to talk about it later....he will get better, like everything it takes time.

Even though it feels like its my fault

it can be left claire - nothing today is mega urgent. I part feel though I won't have the motivation to do loads next weekend when I know I'll have to and the other part of me is so used to having to do everything at once I feel lost when there is nothing screamingly urgent to do. If my parents weren't coming to stay I'd do a quick hoover and dust but I'll have to be a bit more thorough. The house is very tidy and everything is in its place but needs a really good dust/hoover/web clearing/bathroom scrubbing going over etc. I also have a couple of black patches on the ceilings in a couple of rooms I need to tackle from the house being closed up over winter and the steam from dryin clothes not getting out. I've bought some stuff but can't be bothered and I know I'll have to do it before I go away.

i've still got mouldy patches in my kitchen from when the roof was leaking, so i know what you mean about doing something about them, they are unsightly arn't they? but as they say rome wasn't built in a day and things take time :) surely your parents won't mind them being there?

well strangely, theres singing coming from the bathroom and not swearing :) and he is smiling (confused smily) lol
