Not feeling great today I have an appointment with a Psychiatrist, but 99% of my problem is that I just can't face going out cos of panic attacks. I feel totally ill even thinking about having to leave and go on the bus.
Argh, what is wrong with meee.I just can't do it. OH is going mad saying I need to go, but I just can't do it The hospital is over 40 minutes away, I can just about go out to our local village, about a minute away, but even then I have to be with either Stu or my Mum.
I used to be the most outgoing and confident person, I just don' know what's happened.
Oh it's such a mess

dh got his brewers exam today and has hardly studied, he has already failed it 3 or 4 times before, am keeping my fingers crossed for him today, just hope he passes

so much to do today:( majorly behind with comps again

Sweetie I have suffered from very bad panic attacks since infant school. I have also found it hard to leave the house and have come to practically a standstill sometimes. I got counceling and took anti depressants (which I said I would never do) and that really helped. I don't particularly like psychiatrists (as I have seen a few in my time). They tend to deal with stuff like dual personality and schizophrenia but they might refer you to someone who can help. Look for a book by someone weeks or wheeks? Self help for you nerves it is called. Much better than the standard self help books. And just remember when you start to panic that you have felt that way before and nothing bad happened, the panic will go, you just need to wait it out.

morning, im new to this forum and comping! been doing some competitions and writing end dates in my diary.

both myself and my husband will be using this account. We cant wait to have our first win! What was everyone elses first win and how long did it take you to win something? Its wonderful seeing what some of you have won and how happy it makes you

Im a software engineer and thinking of starting to comp however this forum isnt as efficient as I would like for its subject. I run my own email server so am going to make a special email address just for comping (with a different alias for each comp).

I have an idea for software that will download the full list of comps, sort them into date order and mark a tick next to the ones that I have left a "thanks" for... would this be allowed, as it would be more efficient and reduce my need to check the forum (therefor saving MSEs bandwidth too as all posts only need listed once).

Im thinking of making the software automatically generate a new email alias for each competition and make a note of that in a database too... so if I get an email the it automatically marks which comp it was from (to mark the spammers, and also link win notifications back to the post via the email alias) but this would all be done from an internal database so wouldnt add any overhead to MSEs webserver.

I was thinking of making the software allow distribution of the lists in a future version which would make the impact on MSE website even less as most people would then not need to even check the forum and get all their comp posts via the new peer2peer sharing network (maybe with an automatic form-filling system)... any ideas on this part?
