Well I got my haircut & my son hates it! He asked me if I can grow my fringe back out! :D (He's more like his dad, doesn't do compliments!)
Postie brought me a bic razor. :)
Well done ppd & korky on your wins too....looks like we'll all be hairfree! :rotfl: I couldn't use an epilator...i'll stick with me bic!
Good luck getting back into comping glodh1973 ;) I just use the one phone (payg) but limit myself to what I spend.

Can anyone suggest anything that might get rid of an abcess without going to dentist? :o Been taking ibrufen but not helping as much.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Evening guys

Well done on your wins, korky, Wingo, PPD, Sweetie, Toni, ginjim and everyone I missed :D:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I do hate missed calls, esp witheld with no voice mail.

 yayy for the haircut Wingo, I am looking forward to doing mine soon. How did you have it cut?

Sorry about the abcess, is it very difficult to go to the dentist hun? can you not book an emergency appointment and get it looked at? they might prescribe something effective. They are very uncomfortable to put up with, hope you get better x Like glodh said,a good mouthwash sometimes worked when I had minor mouth sores.

Fed up, the neighbour's cat was hanging off the highest branch in the tree trying to get the poor baby birds :( I heard the birds :eek: hope they are safe..I put a feeder there but thinking of taking it down now. Hope they don't feel intimidated..
The cat is so cute but sooo naughty.
    Like an alleycat :o

Sorry haven't read back properly yet my blood pressure is hitting the roof....but will do soon x

Hi, just wanted to give peeps with elderly relatives or friends a 'heads up'. I went to see my 85 year dad today, he always leaves his post for me to check as I write his cheques etc. He had a telephone bill from Pipex (ex Toucan) and he was suddenly being charged £9.98 for Broadband (he doesn't have a PC). I rang them and they said that Toucan gave free Broadband cover but it was now taken over by Talk talk who don't. I've cancelled it, but how many elderly people don't have anyone to check these things for them?

Thats awful barnabysue. :( I can imagine lots of elderly folks having to pay for things they dont have. I hate rip off companies. Virgin is top of my hate list at the mo. :( Can you reclaim the money your dad was charged?

Thanks glodh & NNW for the advice about my abcess. I will get some of that corsodyl tomorrow. :)
Your neighbours cat sounds just like my neighbours 2 cats NoName. They keep leaving me dead birds in our garden. Aw, you're so caring NoName, thinking about those birds. :)

DH was gonna take kids out to his mums for an hour while I had a lie down knowing I wasn't feeling too good. But then a friend turned up unexpectedly with her kids so my kids wouldn't go out. I would have enjoyed the company any other time but you know when you just want an hour to yourself. :o

Luckily this is the first month and they have said that if the full payment gets taken on the 28th they will credit it to his account. Rip off merchants the lot of them!

Evening everyone, dont know if anyones done the dooleys drink on facebook where you fill in details to get a free drink but this message is on dooleys wall.

Dooley's “J Wray & Nephew, UK agents of Dooley’s Original Toffee Liqueur,
has been made aware of an online promotion to receive a free sample of
the drink, through a company called ‘Free Sample Drinks’.

J Wray & Nephew would like to make it clear that this has not been
...endorsed by the brand, and is currently managing the situation through
its legal department and via other official industry associations.
