    Cheers wingo, phoned them and McCain says it takes upto 28 days for them to get in touch with the winners, then we have to wait for the camera itself lol heyho it'll be worth the wait

    Hi all not really spoke on here much but after some advice if possible please...........

    was contemplating starting the text comps as not really done them because i am scared of my bill what is best way to do them would it be get another phone pay as you go for comps or stick to contract..

    how does everyone else do them and for people that use contract have they noticed a considerable difference in bill currently i get unlimited texts

    Hi Gloria,

    Free texts that you get with your provider aren't included with text competitions. Even if the text comp is free or SNR (standard network rate) then you will normally be charged 10-12p depending on your provider as they're not included either.

    I find it's best to have a separate phone purely for competitions. I bought a phone last week for £14.95 with £10 credit on, so only spent £4.95 for the phone.
    It's much less worry because you know how much you are topping up by & can limit yourself
