            Morning all,
Nice day here at the moment, but we are due rain later, OH is working for the day, and dd and little dog are still in bed, so all peaceful here, just me and a pot of tea . .
WM is doing its thing, two more loads to go in after, I need to clean the kitchen today, and the grass could do with a cut. Not sure what else I will get up to, depends on dd, if she goes off to town, then I will potter at home, otherwise I will spend the day with her.
I bought a kg bag of museli with my shopping thinking it was our normal one, but its revolting, its like eating rabbit food _pale_, any ideas what I can do with it ??
I have taken a leg of lamb out of the freezeer for tomorrows dinner, should do us a few meals, tonight dinner will be a hot indian curry deliverd to my door, and eaten whilst watching Dr Who :T:T
The chap came yesterday and put the wallpaper up in dd's room, it looks great, so we can get her properly moved back in over the weekend, next job will be the bathroom, which we are going to rip out and re-do the whole lot.
Esmf, sorry to hear about your dh job, I hope it all works out for you xx
Ladygrim, hope yesterday went as well as possible xx
 Have good days all xx0

Morning all......................(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Its raining......OH mentioned cutting the grass last night, true to form its raining.
I was in the garden potting on plug plants yesterday afternoon and I got bitten, have a massive bite on my arm, it itches like crazyand my elbow is swollen; so I am going to have to go and get some histermine tablets. Our chemist runs a scheme where you can go for advice and if you need certain medications that the Dr would mornally prescribe you can get them from the chemist. We have both registered.
Not sure what we are going to be doing as its raining......I might do some sewing......
I have a joint of gammon to cook, I am going to slice it we will have some tomorrow for supper and a salad on Monday, the rest will be packaged up and frozen for later.
Shopping will be done sometime next week, possibly Thursday so I can do Tesco and Aldi on the same day. We have been using Aldi premium tea bags, they are just as good as anything more expensive, so I will be buying them in future. I must say I seem to be buying more and more from Aldi, there are somethings that I can only get from Tesco which is a pity. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0

            Morning All,
Feeling a bit brighter this morning, and have new resolve about the garage too, will be sorting them out later - I feel a bit foolish, as it's the old, con a stupid woman]thing, although they are part of a national chain so hopefully I should have some recourse. Just because I thought it was something doesn't mean they shouldn't have investigated further, and I feel like a right mug! I am not naive, I've been driving nearly 20 years (oops gave my age away there), and have had my own car all that time, so not inexperienced! Just glad OH is in one piece, I barely sat down yesterday waiting for him to get there!
N9eav thanks for the link, I've signed up, that should help a bit with days out, as our summer hols start June 26th.
Redruby I have used muesli in Twinks before and they were great, also good for adifferent crumble topping mixed with melted butter and flour.
Bitsy hope the getaway goes according to plan today!
esmf73 Bad luck about OH's job, but maybe that will be a blessing in disguise, and you won't all have to be seperated now?
taplady hope your back is OK today
sunnyday take care of that leg!
Jackie hope Sis in Law is OK
Kithcenbunny I've given up the fizz too, now if I'm desperate I but the flavoured water from Asda or Aldi, it's about 39p a bottle and really delicious.
Hugs to everyone else, you all semm to have good days planned.
OH and DS1 are at the football, it's pouring and he's playing outside, so he will no doubt be filthy when he returns. OH is going to pick up his hire car when he retuens and then we're off out for the afternoon, I'mm off to B&Q to see what I can get for £50 so I can get my discount and then they'll bring me home and go see Iron Man 2 which I am not in the mood for. and then they'll bring me home and go see Iron Man 2 which I am not in the mood for.
Washing is on, TD on, Cocopops has had her chicken liver (shudder) I will be making bread and dinner tonight will be Indian Buffet, Veggi Haggis Pakora (you need to try this, no recipe needed, I use shop bought haggis, and Curry Queen's onion Bhaji batter, it's to die for!), onion bhaji, quorn pakora, lentil dahl and HM chapattis.
My Sis gave me some lovely leftover wallpaper yesterday which will go up in the dining area of the kitchn, and it goes perfectly with the Roman Blind from the livingroom in our old place, so I will re-sew that today to fit the kitchen window and back door. I haven't had a blind in the kitchen since we moved in as I wasn't sure what I was doing with the decoration, but now that will be it revamped for free! :j
Sorry I am such a gab, Hugs to Ladygrim, Diva, PenPin, Penelope Penguin if you're reading. See you all later!

            Morning my fellow lovely OSer's
I'm just back from the gym - I honestly can't believe I've just typed that! 2 weeks ago I would never have thought I'd enjoy going to the gym and that I'd be there when doors opened at 9am to work out on a Saturday! :rotfl: But I'm loving it.
Plans for today include trip to library then to meet girls for lunch and spot of shopping. I may pop to my parents but not sure yet. Also want to go to running shop for new trainers and need to pay money into bank. I'm going to have a quiet night in and attempt to make a diet friendly pizza tonight.
WM went on this morning, but I don't think it will stay out on balcony today as the weather looks changable. Not much else OS planned as I clean kitchen/bathroom yesterday. Hoover could go over I suppose.
Hope you all have a fab day

Good afternoon everyone, I am a sleepyhead today! I did two lots of washing yesterday so will put the rest away today. Since my absence I have been naughty and used money I had saved to put towards bits for mew house to buy a new Chihuahua puppy, he is gorgeous and is keeping me amused whilst I am housebound so I still think he is money well spent.
This time next week I will be on my first business link course, it's the introduction to starting a new business, I know this sounds silly but can I wear whatever I like, it's not formal dress is it?! Hope everyone is ok, LadyGrim - so sorry to hear of your sad news, my heart goes out to you. Diva - so glad you are on the road to recovery. Love to all x x x xHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0

            Afternoon all,
Very quiet here is it not? I rarely get onto first page at this time of day.
Nice day here, sunny so clothes should dry.
DS1, DDIL1 and DGD2 are here for the weekend, they have been in Japan since I saw them last and brought me a wonderful kitchen knife, they always complain that my knives are blunt so delighted with this. We are just going to town to look at new kitchens as they are in the process of buying a house which just has 'builder' finish....no fixtures or fittings....love looking at stuff like that but OH gets bored silly so this will be a treat. They are staying with DD4 to-night so that DGD2 and DGS 2 can have some time together, so just dinner for OH and me.....ham and cabbage.
Won't be doing much this evening....Japanese friend and her daughter staying to-night....not the greatest idea really as child is scared of Kerry and we have DD3's dog Mossy for the night as well....I may go to bed early!
 Thinking of you Ladygrim.
Hugs to all in need or want

afternoon everyone, weather looking grim today and we have new neihbours moving in next door who at the minute are very noisy - I can here word for word what they have on television and a woman is constantly shouting at a little girl. Im hoping this is just cos its moving in day or they wont last long here as its a quiet road.
Have hoovered round and got stuff out the freezer for tea, thats about it!
boys are napping, althou they have nearly been woken once.
hope eveyone has a lovely afternoon.
(DS2 just woken, he only had an hour - he looks half asleep!) xxMum, wife and dinnerlady!0

            Good Afternoon Peeps
It is still dry here but heavy rain is forecast later, hence the reason I am late posting is that I have been manically doing all the washing and getting as much as I can on the line to dry especially towels and jeans.
Finished now and only a few bits not quite dry so fingers crossed I don't have to use the TD today.:)
Blooming eye and legs still not responding to the drugs so looks like I will be going back to GP on Tuesday.
Might pop to Homebase or B&Q later cos I need to get some handles for the doors.
Love to Lady Grim, Penpin and Diva :kisses3:
esmf ....Sorry to hear about OH but every cloud has a silver lining - I know because we have never been happier since my DH lost his high paid long hour job and got a lower paid but less hours job And your OH has the advantage of being a GP so he shouldn't be out of work for too long. And your OH has the advantage of being a GP so he shouldn't be out of work for too long.
So hopefully you can be together as a proper family again
 (((((((((Hugs to You All))))))))
Red Ruby ......They have changed the time of Dr Who again it is on at 6.25pm tonite x:)
Oh well off go and see if I can find the handles that I want
Love to All xxxxBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I seem to have been bitten by the tidy bug! Three loads of washing done, the majority already dried, ironed and put away and another load drying now in the last of the afternoon sunshine. I've dusted and hoovered the place, tidied the kitchen and bedroom and am wondering whether I've got time to do a bit of weeding in the garden! I don't know what's up with me - I just feel the need to clean.
However I did just sit down to write this and look for some other bits while having a cup of tea and a chocolate biccie - mmm.
Still not sure what to do for tea tonight. I've got some mince out, but I want something different to do with it. Anyway, have a lovely evening everyone!
 Kitchenbunny xx
