Nationwide Fast Payments !

Just wanted to give credit where due ....................
I use Nationwide Flex a/c for bill payments , gas/electric/cc etc ...
For the last couple of weeks they have been using the Fast Payments scheme which i am very impressed with !
Example , made a payment at 09-30 am thurs morning , checked the website of company paid to , on a other matter , it showed payment received !! How fast is that ? well done Nationwide ! :j
Looks like this will be a good thing for the late`ish payers to avoid charges for late payments due to banks usual 3-5 day exc w/ends terms !

As far as i know its been rolled out UK wide and as long as both parties are signed up to use it !
Maybe someone knows a list of firms/companies using this system ?

I've found this recently, It's great when swapping money between accounts. I've sent money to my co-op account and it's arrived the same day:beer:
Wonder if it will send bill payments just as fast too?

It does - I sent my Nationwide card payment yesterday, and it's arrived the same day. Just have to see if my Amex payment does the same as it was set up for yesterday as well.
