bahamas land for building

A tract of 290 Acres has become available straddling an area between the sea and a large freshwater inland lake. It has a natural Harbour deep enough to take mid range cruise ships as well as the mandatory private gin palaces and more modest vessels.
Land is available as single or multiple acre lots at the rather silly price of $60,000 per acre, except the harbour area which must be offered as a single development of 60 Acres.
I am informed that there are a number of American "flat pack" home companies queuing up to do business with settlors; they can provide everything from a 'modest' villa at around £70,000 to the most expensive option of which would set you back £120,000.
If you have more than few bob to spare then £9,000,000 would buy you the whole shebang.
In short you could realise a very comfortable Bahamas dream for about £150,000 - return flights are about £500 I believe.
What makes this a good investment? Well a VERY well known name in the golfing world heading a consortium is in negotiations to purchase the 4,000 acres abutting in order to build an international grade golf complex - even if this deal falls through, there have two major developers clamouring to purchase build top grade residential and/or hotel facilities on it.
