Horrible smell after boiler leak

Hope someone can help.

We had a boiler leak last week which I only discovered after smelling a sort of acidy smell coming from the airing cupboard where it's located. Anyway, got it repaired but the smell is still there though not quite as bad as it was. The floorboards were soaked and I think it may be coming from them and probably ones below at floor level as well.

Anyone any suggestions on how I might get rid of it. I use the room as my office and it can get quite overpowering at times.

Sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda, leave for a few days then use a dustpan and brush to remove it, don't use your vacuum cleaner, being a very fine powder large amounts can block the filters very quickly.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. It's not quite as bad today.
