Private healthcare advice????

Options
After a recent knee injury took a LONG time to get sorted on the NHS, i'm looking to get myself covered with private healthcare.
I'm also going to be joining a gym to build myself up after my operation and i've seen a good offer from Prudential saying that if you buy their healthcare you will get cannons membership (which is what i was considering) for £25!!

Now considering that their normal membership is £69, this sounds like a really good deal!

The questions i have are;

1 - Does anybody know if this is full or off peak membership (it only says standard membership on the website).

2 - I've read all of the terms & conditions and it says nothing about existing or previous injury's, i've heard that insurance company's often use this as a clause to pay out!
Does anybody have any advice or previous experience please?

and finally

3 - Does anybody know of any good deals or any good company's to get a quote from??

Many thanks guys
Nice to save.

    Private Medical Insurance (PMI) differs with every insurance company. This makes it hard to compare like for like pricing.

    Pru have 3 plans called: Core, essential, comprehensive.

    1 - Don't know. Are you buying the PMI for the special offer or the PMI cover itself?
    2 - Providers will either exclude outright existing conditions or issue a time restriction for cover (ie, not covered in first 5 years)
    3 - Depends on what level of cover you are looking for and what you are willing to pay. Generally, in this sector, you do tend to get what you pay for. However, there are still price differences that make it worth checking with different providers.
