Dental treatment not covered by insurance

I'm in the same position. Mine's insured with Directline and in ten years has never ailed a thing...other than dental decay which none to my knowledge cover unless its as a result of something else.
I had a £300 bill a few months ago when they took five teeth out. She needed more out still so back she's going very soon for more out.0
