Hi all,
I wonder if anyone has got an idea on how to map a flash drive connected to my BT Home Hub V2? I used to have an external HDD connected and mapped it successfully, but I'm having problems with this flash drive. Here are some particulars;
BT Home Hub V2 Software version 8.1.H.J (Type A)
SanDisk Cruzer Micro 4Gb FAT32
OS Windows 7 on all networked (3) PCs
I have tried the following addresses;
\\BTHUB\Disk_a1 (tried a2,a3 and a4)
\\192.168.1.254\usb1\
\\192.168.1.253\usb1\
and various iterations of the above.
The drive shows up on the Home Hub page with an ip address of 192.168.1.253
I have a feeling it may have something to do with a recent Hub software upgrade. but I'm stumped now. I wish I could get the hang of this network lark!
Thanks for looking

did you try
\\192.168.1.253\Disk_a\
I mapped a network drive to do this. Right mouse click on My Computer, select Map Network Drive, and type the above in. may need to dry Disk_b, disk_c, etc.
Yes aware this is an old post but when searching on Google this comes near the top and may be of use.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0
