hi all i contacted dabs on their facebook and twitter pages, i have just received the following message:-

Hi Kelly. I will get the email address box extended tomorrow so longer addresses can be put in. Thanks for pointing this out!'

so hopefully this will be sorted tomorrow thanks to op for posting, good luck all x
