Buyer not Received.

Posted a winning auction parcel out on day of payment,got stamped proof of postage,posted along with others who got there`s.
Buyer becoming irate,told him i have proof of postage and that he needs to make a claim against the Royal Mail for compensation,will give him the stamped receipt of proof,is there anything more i can do?

It is not the buyers problem it is yours. You need to make the claim and refund the buyer (probably before claim is settled).
How did your buyer pay? If by PayPal they will get their money back for "Item not received" I hope the value was less than £32, otherwise you will not recieve full compensation from Royal Mail.
You must remember it is the sellers responsibility to get the item to the buyer!0 -
Like the others have said refund the buyer in full and after 15 working days have elapsed reclaim your losses (assuming item was less than £32) from the Royal mail using your certificate of posting.
